Empresas en 24 Horas (E24H)

Overview
Empresas en 24 Horas (E24H)
Empresas en 24 Horas (E24H) is the Dominican government's program (led
by MICM with the Consejo Nacional de Competitividad – Burocracia
Cero, ONAPI, DGII and the Chambers of Commerce) to compress the
process of opening a business — as a Sole Proprietorship, EIRL, or SRL —
from weeks down to a single day. I worked across both public-facing pieces
of it: the informational site (live at empresas24h.gob.do) and the
application form that lives inside the government portal, where the actual
request is filed with the three institutions.

Overview
The Challenge
A citizen deciding to formalize a business needs two very different things at once: a clear, convincing explanation of the program (fees, required documents, what each legal structure means) and a working form that actually reaches ONAPI, DGII, and the Chamber of Commerce without losing data along the way. Building for one without the other doesn't hold up — a landing page that promises "24 hours" is only honest if the form behind it delivers.
Key capabilities across the two fronts:
- The informational site — fee calculator, step-by-step guides per legal structure (PF/EIRL/SRL), a downloadable-document library, an institutional resources section, and a rate-limited contact form.
- The application form — a multi-step request flow per legal structure, submission to three institutions in parallel, per-institution status tracking, and document handling for issued certificates.
